Many booksellers are waitlisted for this workshop; registered booksellers who cannot attend should let ABA know by the end of the day on July 9 so waiting booksellers can take their place.

Booksellers can sign up now for virtual one-on-ones with members of ABA’s IndieCommerce team, open to current IndieCommerce and IndieLite members as well as to non-members.

The Expo section of the event offers an area for booksellers to meet with vendors, including the Book Industry Charitable Foundation, Booklog, Drag Queen Story Hour, and We Need Diverse Books.

This workshop focuses on the self-awareness, knowledge of historic and current racism, and skills necessary for white people to learn together. 

At Children’s Institute later this month, the debut authors will appear alongside booksellers to talk about their books.
