All Children’s Institute Attendees Invited to July 15 Virtual Hangout

On Wednesday, July 15, at 5:40 p.m. ET, all attendees of the American Booksellers Association’s 8th annual Children’s Institute (Ci8) are invited to gather in virtual rooms to connect and chat during the Virtual Hangout, which closes the first day of the event.

Like at in-person institutes, all attendees are welcome to mix and mingle during the hangout. To facilitate easier conversation, the hangout will be broken out into a number of smaller rooms capped at 20 people each (there will be enough rooms for all attendees). Attendees can join any room they wish and visit multiple rooms during the hangout.

In addition to colleagues, attendees can expect to see Ci8 keynote Isaac Fitzgerald during the hangout.

This year’s Children’s Institute will be hosted on the virtual platform Hopin.

Children’s Institute will resume in person on June 16–18, 2021, at the Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa in Tucson, Arizona. Questions about the institute should be directed to [email protected].
