Small Business Majority Offers Webinar on Access to Capital
- By David Grogan
Gaining access to capital is a key issue for most small retailers, including independent booksellers. To help business owners navigate the loan process and have a better chance at securing a loan, the Small Business Majority, a national small business advocacy organization, is hosting the free webinar “Access to Capital 101: Funding Options to Start and Grow Your Business” on Wednesday, April 13.
Presented by Rhea Aguinaldo, the national entrepreneurship outreach manager for SBM, the webinar will present an overview of alternative lending options, including microloans, SBA’s loan guarantee program, CDFIs, and reputable online options; key questions to consider when seeking funding; tips to help determine the best option for your business; and helpful tools and resources from other sources.
The webinar will be presented on Wednesday, April 13, from 11:00 a.m. to noon PDT. Learn more and register here.
SBM has also created an Access to Capital web portal, which provides small business owners with resources and information to help them learn more about the loan process.
