To assist booksellers in finding the 11 exhibiting stores, ABA has adapted the festival’s map to highlight their booth numbers as well as the ABA member meeting spot, the Radisson Hotel. A PDF of the map is available here.
Booksellers attending the festival on Sunday, April 19, can drop their luggage and pick up a printout of the festival map in Board Room 201 at the Radisson Hotel on the University of Southern California campus. The room will open at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday and close at 4:00 p.m., giving booksellers enough time to make it to the Hilton Pasadena for the Children’s Institute opening keynote with Jeff Kinney, which begins at 5:30 p.m.
The map highlighting ABA member booksellers will also be on hand at the ABA Welcome Desk at the Hilton Pasadena.
A general map for the festival can be found here.
To get to the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books from the Children’s Institute in Pasadena, booksellers can take the Metro Gold Line to Union Station, where Festival Shuttle Buses will be running in a continuous loop between the station and the festival site. The shuttle buses begin service at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday and conclude one hour after the festival closes each day.
