Booksellers, Publishers Invited to Submit Cover Ideas for Best Books for Young Readers Catalog

This year, the ABC Children’s Group will produce the 2020 ABC Best Books for Young Readers catalog as a digital download rather than a print catalog.

Booksellers are invited to submit title recommendations for the catalog via this online form and to send ideas for the cover to ABC Children’s Group Manager Gen de Botton.

Publishers are also invited to submit title recommendations and cover images to de Botton; publishers received an email in May from de Botton with details about how to submit.

The catalog will feature frontlist titles published in the year 2020, but will not include holiday books so that the catalog may be used year-round. The catalog will be available on BookWeb.org as a printable PDF, including the back page, which serves as an order form/wishlist for young readers.

The cover of this year’s catalog will be revealed in July, with the digital download being made available to booksellers in October.
