ABA Member Lounge to Feature Author Autographings & More
This year’s ABA Member Lounge at BookExpo America (Meeting Room 214 at the front of the “200” aisle on the trade show floor) will offer exclusive author meet-and-greets and signed galleys, a presentation of the newest crop of Indies Introduce authors, information on ABA programs and services from affiliated business partners, one-on-one meetings with IndieCommerce staff and/or with ABA Senior Policy Analyst David Grogan, as well as a place to relax, have a snack, and meet with fellow booksellers.
Over the three days of the trade show, the lounge’s exclusive members-only autographing sessions will feature some of today’s top-selling authors. Scheduled to sign in the lounge are Jonathan Franzen, BEA’s Opening Day Spotlight speaker, and seven of the eight authors from BEA’s Book and Author Breakfasts. In addition, 16 Indie Next List favorites will be autographing in the lounge following Thursday’s Celebration of Bookselling and Author Awards Lunch.
