ABA Launches BookWeb Page to Track Coronavirus Updates, Changes, and Resources
As the American Booksellers Association continues to monitor the coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19), booksellers are invited to visit a new page on BookWeb.org that details event updates, general information about the outbreak, and resources for retailers.
In addition, booksellers are encouraged to visit BookWeb’s Bookseller-to-Bookseller Forums, where there is a new thread for stores to share best practices during the outbreak, including how to stay healthy, how to handle related personnel issues, how to cut costs if sales are down, how to handle cancelled events, and other topics members want to share. A BookWeb login is required to access the forums; email [email protected] for login credentials.
Today’s issue of Bookselling This Week includes additional updates and information, such as:
- ABA Cancels Appearance at Spring Bookseller Forums
- Indie Booksellers Promote Shopping Local During Coronavirus Outbreak
- West Coast Indie Bookstores Respond to COVID-19
Booksellers are also encouraged to reach out if there’s any way ABA can offer support now or in the weeks to come.
