Last week, the American Booksellers Association hosted its quarterly forum for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color booksellers, who joined together virtually to discuss any matters of bookselling they chose.

Virtual Coffee Breaks will be held on January 26 at 3:00 p.m. ET and January 28 at 8:00 p.m. ET. Join for an opportunity to talk with booksellers from across the country.

Booksellers are invited to join editors on Zoom on Wednesday, January 27, at 7:00 p.m. ET for an event sponsored by the American Booksellers Association and Publishers Lunch.

While the chat function in event platform Hopin will be open during each session for additional interaction, this form will help Wi16 panelists focus session content by collecting some bookseller questions in advance.

The three-day event will consist of keynote presentations, rep picks sessions, educational programming, social events with fellow booksellers and authors, poetry interludes, IndieCommerce one-on-ones, a fundraiser for the Book Industry Charitable Foundation, and more. 

Publishers Weekly has announced the launch of the U.S. Book Show, set for May 26–28, while Edelweiss by Above the Treeline announced the launch of Edelweiss BookFest, to be held June 8–9.

A companion session to the January 13 event on building school partnerships will look at the basics for in-school, in-store, and online book fairs.

Four more virtual Coffee Breaks will be held between now and the end of the month. Join for an opportunity to talk with booksellers from across the country.
