The Annual Meeting will take place at 2:00 p.m. ET with the Town Hall immediately following. ABA will provide details about the digital platform in the coming weeks.

Membership with ABA ends on January 31, 2021, so booksellers are encouraged to complete their dues renewal form on BookWeb to ensure a continuation of benefits. 

Stores have until February 4 to sign up to send the second installment of a digital version of the flier to their customers, featuring Family and Coming of Age, Nonfiction and Memoir, Mystery/Thriller, and Other Worlds titles.

Nominations and self-nominations are due by 11:59 p.m. ET today, Wednesday, January 20. 

Booksellers have until February 5 to sign up to participate in Independent Bookstore Day (April 24) and/or place orders for special literary-themed merchandise to sell during the event. 

Booksellers are encouraged to fill out the survey by Monday, January 25, to help ABA better understand what members need and how we can help. The survey takes just five minutes.

For the upcoming membership year, the American Booksellers Association is inviting all member bookstores to renew their dues via an online form.

In adding to the DEIC, ABA is looking for individuals who represent different diverse identities. Booksellers can nominate themselves or a colleague now.

The financial snapshot survey, which was launched earlier this month, takes just five minutes to complete.

Nominees will be contacted on a rolling basis to inquire about their interest, answer questions, and request additional information if needed.
