Here’s what’s happening in the world of indie bookstores this week:
Epilogue: Books Chocolate Brews will open in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, this summer.
Reads & Company Bookshop is set to open this May in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania.
Seattle’s Madison Books is planning an Independent Bookstore Day (April 27) opening.
Second Star to the Right Books in Denver, Colorado, is planning a major renovation that will expand its current location. The expansion is expected to be completed in 2020.
Jeff Kinney, bestselling author and owner of An Unlikely Story in Plainville, Massachusetts, talked passion, writing, and bookstore ownership with Ireland’s Virgin Media Television. The store is planning to kick off Independent Bookstore Day celebrations with a fundraiser for the Binc Foundation.
