BookExpo America will be held from Monday, June 4, through Thursday, June 7, 2012, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.
BookExpo America (BEA) is the book industry's premier trade show. Each spring, it provides booksellers with an invaluable opportunity to preview publishers' upcoming titles and discover new vendors, as well as take part in education and information sessions, author breakfasts and lunches, and other special events. There are also many opportunities to network with booksellers from across the country and other industry professionals.
The American Booksellers Association is a proud sponsor of BookExpo America. ABA sold the trade show in 1994 to Reed Exhibitions, which manages and operates BEA. ABA’s Town Hall and Annual Membership Meetings are held in conjunction with BEA, and ABA members are encouraged to attend not only the trade show, but also the myriad special events sponsored by the association and its partners throughout the week of BEA.
The industry will gather at BEA 2012 in New York City to learn what’s new and what’s next in the world of publishing and to celebrate our passion for books. Watch for updates here and in Bookselling This Week.
All ABA Regular Bookstore and Provisional members must register for BookExpo America via the BEA website or by calling trade show customer service at (800) 840-5614. All member bookstores are eligible for a number of free badges.
The 2012 ABA Day of Education, sponsored by Ingram Content Group, will take place on Monday, June 4, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. ABA's full day of free, educational programming is targeted at ABA bookstore and provisional members but is open to all BEA attendees.
